Gemma absolutely smashed it last year with her band of friends and we are so pleased and fortunate to be able to host them again today. Expect a mix of covers and original music from this artist with great connections and a powerful, rich voice. We were pretty packed out last time so don’t rock up late and expect a seat at the front. Free entry but the hat will be passed around for cash donations or you can card at the bar. 100% goes to the artist.

Join us for our Sunday afternoon Open Mic, hosted by the brilliant Charlie Flintoff and Emily Gaskell! This is always a very friendly and inclusive afternoon with great camaraderie, where everyone is welcome to get up on stage and have a go! Whether you’re a singer, musician, comedian, or poet, experienced or just starting out, the stage is yours. Our Sunday afternoon Open Mic is specifically aimed at young people who might just be starting out and unable to access other open mics due to age or experience. If you are not a performer, worry not! Come and sit back, relax, and enjoy being one of the first to experience Yorkshires next generation of Musicians!

The Undercover Hippy

Billy Rowan aka The Undercover Hippy has been performing at festivals since 2008, working his way up from being a solo singer-songwriter playing in small marquee stages, to now having a full band of incredible musicians and playing main-stages at some of the UK’s best independent festivals. The band have been regulars at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Electric Picnic, Eden Festival in Scotland and Beautiful Days, plus many more around the UK and Europe. They also tour extensively in the UK twice a year, playing to packed venues from Edinburgh to Penzance. The music is best described as politically driven acoustic roots reggae folk-hop, with feel good vibes and a sly sense of humour. The live show is high energy, interactive, and always leaves the crowd begging for more.
