Menu: Chicken Fricassee; Chicken Chasseur; Beef Bourguignon; Dauphinoise Potatoes In this French class filled with delicious classic dishes, you will learn: The art of creating classic French cuisine Browning meat and deglazing the pan Creating and using beurre manie to thicken sauce Creating a sauce using a traditional roux base Marinating beef for beef bourgignon And most importantly – the confidence to be creative in your cooking! This is a busy class so be ready for a night full of French ingredients, flavours and fun. This class costs £47.50 per person. You will have your own table but will be sharing a hob and working in a pair. Cookery Class For Adults With Complex Needs

Recipes: BBQ Chicken Skewers with Chips; Treacle Tart Description: In this class we will be creating a delicious barbecue marinade for our chicken skewers which we will cook and serve alongside homemade oven chips. For dessert, we will make a sweet pastry and a delicious treacle tart filling (with golden syrup despite the name!) which we will bake in the oven. Vegetarian options available please ask when booking. We always welcome newcomers to these classes and if there is anything you would like to discuss about the class please get in touch! Price £30 per person, this is a discounted price. This includes all the ingredients, recipe packs and tuition. Please remember it is now our policy with this class for you to provide your own refreshments so that we can keep the cost down. Age 16 plus. Parents / Carers are welcome to come and support.

The Farm Cookery School is a Wiltshire Council approved provider of Alternative Provision. Wiltshire Approved Alternative Provision (WAAP) providers are quality assured in terms of Safeguarding, Health & Safety, teaching and learning arrangements. We run weekly term-time cookery sessions on a Wednesday from 10am – 12.30pm and work with the students towards the goals in their individual learning plans. We only have 8 students per class and so that we can closely with each one and we ask that an adult is present throughout the session. There are 6 sessions per term, at a cost of £450 per learner (£75 per session per week).

The Chicken Workshop

Menu: Chicken Balti; Chicken Soup; Chicken Pesto Pasta; Chicken & Chorizo Traybake These classes are designed to boost your confidence in the kitchen! With a focus on one main ingredient, we teach you 4 dishes that are perfect for family meals. Plus, we cover the essential skills of batch cooking and repurposing leftovers. In this ‘Chicken’ themed class filled with delicious classic dishes, you will learn: Knife skills To prepare and cook chicken safely Spice blend creation for curries. To make homemade pesto The art of soup making About batch cooking & tray bakes How to use leftovers And most importantly – the confidence to be creative in your cooking! Dinner With A Difference

Do you fancy a Dinner with a Difference? This is our new menu with the theme ‘BBQ’. So if you love a BBQ in the summer then this is the evening for you! We have chosen some of our favourites for you to choose from. It’s a relaxing and fun event and definitely a dinner with a difference! Choose to make one of the main courses from our menu and we will create your dessert for you! Once you have finished cooking your mains you can enjoy them in our Dining Room and we will then bring your chosen dessert through to you. You are welcome to bring your own alcoholic drinks and enjoy them whilst cooking, we will provide Tea, Coffee and Sparkling Elderflower. Spain - Tapas 2

Menu: Tortilla de Patatas; Croquetas; Albondigas en Salsa; Pan Tumaca; Feta, Pomegranate and Mint Salad. In this Spanish class filled with the wonderful flavours of Tapas, you will learn: Tortilla de Patatas – A potato based Spanish omelette which makes a great base which you can add many ingredients to, to make it your own! We will be using smoked Gammon. Croquetas – Breaded cheesy ham bites, delicious and full of flavour. Albondigas en Salsa – Tasty Spanish meatballs in a tangy tomato sauce.
