Following the international acclaim and box office success of his show 'MOJO', singer pianist Jeremy Sassoon proudly presents the sequel, 'MOJO 2' covering the music of another 40 iconic Jewish songwriters and artists with his sensational quartet, focusing largely on the vintage era of the 1960's and '70s. The music in MOJO 2 encompasses both A-list artists and the 'unsung heroes': songwriters whose names you might not at first recognise, despite being familiar with all their biggest hits. The Brit Funk Association

The Brit-Funk Association features a 10 piece collective of musicians from Beggar & Co, Central Line, Hi-Tension and ex-members of Light of the World and Incognito. They perform from each of the band's back catalogue tracks such as Time , Somebody (Help Me Out) , Walking Into Sunshine , Hi-Tension , British Hustle , There's a Reason , I'm So Happy , London Town , Nature Boy , Everyday and some of the great music that inspired them. The new album from BFA will be released in the New Year on Expansion Records. The Brit-Funk genre started in the late 1970's and was a catch-all phrase to describe the distinctive mix of jazz-fusion-funk-disco music being made by UK bands such as Level 42, Light of the World, Freeez, Shakatak, Central Line, Hi-Tension, Morrissey / Mullen, Second Image, Direct Drive, Linx and Incognito. Hi Tension became recognised as the pioneers of British dance music, opening doors for other bands like Light Of the World, Central Line, and Lynx, to name a few. Young up and coming musicians such as Courtney Pine learned their trade and cut their teeth touring with the band. It was a time of excitement and experimentation. A new era. No turning Back. No compromise. Hi Tension kicked open the doors to the UK dance, and made the industry jump and the dance floors shake! The Groove lives on 'Bless The Funk'.

Johnny Hates Jazz

Johnny Hates Jazz, comprising Clark Datchler (songwriting, vocals, keyboards) and Mike Nocito (production, engineering, guitars), achieved prominence in the late 1980s with a string of hits, notably Shattered Dreams . Released in March 1987, the song reached top 5 in the UK, mainland Europe, Asia, and secured the second position in Japan. This was followed by global successes like the anti-war anthem I Don’t Want To Be A Hero , Turn Back The Clock (featuring Kim Wilde), Heart Of Gold , and Don’t Say It’s Love . In 1988, Shattered Dreams reached number 2 on the US Billboard chart and topped the US Adult Contemporary chart. That same year, the album "Turn Back The Clock" entered the UK charts at number 1, selling over four million copies and achieving triple-platinum status. After parting ways at their peak, Johnny Hates Jazz reunited in 2010 and released the album "Magnetized" in 2013, the title track becoming an instant radio hit in the UK. In 2018, the band marked the 30th Anniversary of "Turn Back The Clock" with a special edition featuring new acoustic versions of every song. Their 2020 release, "Wide Awake," drawn on inspiration from their musical roots in the 1970s. In addition, Clark has also co-written new material for Mike and The Mechanics with Genesis legend Mike Rutherford. Now, for the first time in 36 years Johnny Hates Jazz will be embarking on their first ever headline tour of the UK and overseas.

Arild Andersen, Rob Luft and Daniel Sommer Trio

Playing music from their acclaimed album ‘As Time Passes’ experience a world-class trio that bridges generations in an innovative and spontaneous musical encounter. With a shared sense of aesthetics and sound, they explore how their diverse backgrounds merge into a unified expression. A must-see act on the European jazz scene. Danish drummer Daniel Sommer met Norwegian bass legend Arild Andersen in Oslo, where they played as a duo and discussed music and improvisation. Eager to expand the collaboration, Andersen suggested British guitarist Rob Luft as the third member thus, the trio was born! In March 2023, they came together in Denmark for the first time, performing and recording what would become this remarkable debut album. Dedicated to evolving the Nordic sound in a contemporary context, the trio blends original compositions with structured improvisation, forging deeper connections across European jazz scenes.

Formed on the frontline of Bristol’s renowned jam scene, Stone Cold Hustle are emerging as one of the UK’s most dynamic and engaging funk bands. They play nothing but the heaviest funk grooves for the singular purpose of bringing people together and making them dance. Whether tearing up the Peace stage at Glastonbury Festival, packing out a sweaty bar in the heart of the city, or sharing bills with funk legend Fred Wesley, Stone Cold Hustle perform every gig like it’s their last. Souled Out Disco Party are one of the most renowned names within the industry. The band has performed alongside Sir Tom Jones, Jools Holland, The Darkness, Boney M, The Real Thing, Temptations, Edwin Star, The Four Tops, Three Degrees. and many more amazing artists over the past 20 years. Offering a large variety of music that you can't help but dance to. Souled Out Disco Party Band never fails to impress and are the perfect addition to any special celebration. Souled Out was started in June 1993 by Johnny Cat & Dave Fisher. The original idea of the band was to play top quality soul music in the local pubs, drink beer and have a bit of fun. After a few rehearsals, the name Souled Out was registered with the patent office and the band played their first few gigs. Word soon got round and bookings started coming in from such popular venues as The Starlight Rooms in Enfield and the Circus Tavern in Purfleet supporting all the main comedians - Jimmy Jones, Bobby Davro, Mike Reid, Michael Barrymore, Chubby Brown. Twenty years on and the band have gone on to play at venues like Birmingham NEC, Wembley Arena, Knebworth and Earls Court as well as all the top hotels in the UK and Europe including The Grosvenor Mayfair, The London Metropole, The Ritz in Portugal, Hilton Prague and are the only band to have played New Year's Eve at Jumeirah Beach Hotel Dubai three years running.

Jérémy Dumont Quintet feat. Godwin Louis

Since 2018 and the recording of their first CD Eretz, the Jérémy Dumont Quintet feat. Godwin Louis offers a European tour of live concerts every two years. Composed of renowned musicians, the trumpeter Jean-Paul Estiévenart (Belgium), the bassist Alon Near (USA), the drummer Harvel Nakundi (USA), one of the greatest alto saxophonists, Godwin Louis (USA) and Jérémy Dumont (Belgium) on piano and compositions, the quintet offers a contemporary jazz, rich in rhythms, inspired by sounds from around the world, Latin influences, Gnawa and many others. The experience and stability of the group strengthen the harmony and cohesion of its members and each concert is a shared celebration, full of positive energy, accessible and joyful. Jérémy Dumont is a Belgian jazz pianist whose musical identity blends classical depth with an ever-evolving jazz sensibility. Born in 1987, he began on violin before turning to piano at 12, studying with Karin Lechner and later completing classical training at the Arthur Grumiaux Conservatory. Early exposure to jazz improvisation led him to the Jazz Studio in Antwerp and eventually to the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he earned a Master’s degree with distinction under Eric Legnini. By his early twenties, he was already performing widely across Belgium, France, and Luxembourg. Starting during his conservatory studies, his career quickly gained momentum.

IMC Presents Songs in the Key of Life

Returning after fifteen sold-out shows, IMC have a special new concert celebrating one of the greatest and most influential albums of all time. Groundbreaking and endlessly innovative, Songs in the Key of Life marks the creative high point of the musical genius that is Stevie Wonder. An epic double album melding soul, funk, jazz and R&B, it’s his most critically-acclaimed and best-selling album, the impact and legacy of which continues to reverberate in music today. Nashville Meets London are proud to present the first NML performance by Gasoline and Matches. We have been waiting a long time to promote a full band performance! Gasoline & Matches are a high energy, multi-award winning, dual fronted British band combining close harmonies, melodic guitar licks and serious musicianship.
