Fun For Kids ‘Sports and Games’

Sunday, 7th June 2026 10.00am – 4.00pm Fun For Kids ‘Sports and Games’ A day where everything is for kids, offering activities, workshops and games for all children up to the age of 15. Kids entry is FREE. We endeavour to get all activities and rides also FREE for children to do acquiring sponsorship from local companies to support this day for the community. To add to the excitement, the theme for the day is ‘Sports and Games’, where everything will be to do with all different types of exciting and intriguing physical and mind sports and games. Entertainment and activities will be taking place on the stage, together with themed stalls, craftsm food and much more. Langford & Ulting Country Fayre & Classic Car Show

Sunday 5th July 10.00am – 4.00pm Langford & Ulting Country Fayre & Classic Car Show Going back to the good old days of country fayres and celebrating  ‘Everything Local’,  with exhibits of agriculture and horticulture, arts and crafts by local crafters and artists, classic cars, entertainment , rides and activities.  There will also be a fun dog show where prizes and rosettes are given for various classes. There will also be food and refreshments for all, demonstrations and stalls. Motorbike Show - 2nd August

Sunday 2nd August 10.00am – 4.00pm Motorbike Show A day filled with motorbikes of all ages, sizes and models. Come and see around 200 motorbikes on our events field including Classic Vintage Modern and Customised Motorbikes, Touring Displays, Trial Demonstrations, Club Stands, crafts and trade stalls, food stalls and bar.  Competition for best in show for a variety of categories. Live music and entertainment will be taking place on the stage. Dogs are very welcome in all areas but must be kept on a lead. American Car Show - 6th September

Sunday 6th September 10.00am – 4.00pm American Car Show Come and join us to see our huge array of American cars and other American vehicles on the events field.  We will also have live music and entertainment on the stage and amazing food vendors and stall holders.  Competition for best in show for a variety of categories. The annual drive through Maldon Town will be held the day before, Saturday 5th September, leaving the Museum around 3pm. Heritage Weekend - 12th September

12th & 13th September 10.00am – 4.00pm Heritage Weekend The Museum will be open free of charge over the weekend for the Heritage Open Days, where some Museums and other places of local interest are open to the public free of charge (please look for the logo). The theme for this year is ‘ Everyday Histories of Working Lives’ and we will be reflecting through pictures and stories of how power has impacted working lives through the ages.  We will also have some interactive activities and crafts for children and young at heart to enjoy. We will also proudly be one of the venues hosting the Maldon Art Trail, with new pieces of art being held within our Reception area and main galleries. The Museum will be and last entry to visitors is 3pm. As with all venues taking part in the Heritage Open Days, admission into the Museum is FREE. FREE ENTRY to this event.
