Sunday 20th September 10.00am – 4.00pm Steampunk Essexxtraordinaire XI Come and celebrate the 11th year of Essextraordinary Steampunk Magnificence at the Museum and wonder what the future may have been as the Victorians imagined it. The day will be made splendid with a multitude of fun activities, Steampunk market, brilliant entertainment illuminating the day’s proceedings, costume competition through imagination of travelling back in time through the decades. Miniature train rides will be available, come and find Sally Steampunk in our Astaria Model Village or enjoy a nice cup of tea and food in the Steam Pump Tea Room. Kids entry is FREE. We endeavour to get all activities and rides also FREE for children to do acquiring sponsorship from local companies to support this day for the community. To add to the excitement, the theme for the day is ‘Sports and Games’, where everything will be to do with all different types of exciting and intriguing physical and mind sports and games. Entertainment and activities will be taking place on the stage, together with themed stalls, craftsm food and much more. Sunday 5th July 10.00am – 4.00pm Langford & Ulting Country Fayre & Classic Car Show Going back to the good old days of country fayres and celebrating  ‘Everything Local’,  with exhibits of agriculture and horticulture, arts and crafts by local crafters and artists, classic cars, entertainment , rides and activities.  There will also be a fun dog show where prizes and rosettes are given for various classes. Sunday 2nd August 10.00am – 4.00pm Motorbike Show A day filled with motorbikes of all ages, sizes and models. Come and see around 200 motorbikes on our events field including Classic Vintage Modern and Customised Motorbikes, Touring Displays, Trial Demonstrations, Club Stands, crafts and trade stalls, food stalls and bar.  Competition for best in show for a variety of categories. Live music and entertainment will be taking place on the stage. Dogs are very welcome in all areas but must be kept on a lead.
