The Smyths

For more than twenty years, The Smyths have brought the music of The Smiths back to life in the live arena across more than 900 shows in the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand as well as countless festivals including Glastonbury, The Isle of Wight and Bestival. Acclaimed by Johnny Marr, Mike Joyce and the late Andy Rourke and also Stephen Street (The Smiths Producer – who has played live with the band on occasion), The Smyths pay homage to the band who will never re-form, imagining what The Smiths would sound like today as a stadium indie rock band after more than 40 years of playing the songs to several generations of fans; from the teens of then who are Grandparents now, to their children and onto to the teens of today. Cecily Hitchcock Cecily Hitchcock is a comedy siren, crowd enchantress & heckler annihilator. Her unique mix of outlandish anecdotes and off-beat observations have gained traction both online and on stage. Cecily is an accomplished live M.C and her sketches and stand up videos have amassed over 15 million views on social media and have been featured on LadBible, The Sidemen & Brewdog. Rob Auton Rob Auton has written twelve five star rated Edinburgh fringe shows, building a live audience through his unique world view and love of writing and performing. His shows for stage include a series of shows on specific themes- The Yellow Show (a show about the colour yellow), The Sky Show, The Face Show, The Water Show, The Sleep Show, The Hair Show, The Talk Show and so on. As well as touring the UK extensively Rob has also performed across Europe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Australia. Rob has performed his unique brand of comedy on The Russell Howard Hour (Sky One) and on Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central (Comedy Central).

Dave Rowntree (Blur) – No One You Know Book Tour and DJ Set

Spend an evening with Dave Rowntree, drummer of Britpop icons Blur, as he reflects on the band’s early years through the lens of his debut photography book, No One You Know. In this special live conversation, Dave shares the stories behind a remarkable collection of candid images capturing Blur at the very start of their journey. Taken on his Olympus OM-10, the photographs offer an unfiltered glimpse of life inside a young band on the cusp of global success. Expect honest reflections, behind-the-scenes anecdotes, and a rare perspective on the moments that happened away from the spotlight, from long journeys and dressing room downtime to the creative energy that defined the era. Best known for his work with Blur, Dave’s career also spans film and TV composition, animation, broadcasting and campaigning for artists’ rights, bringing a wide-ranging and thoughtful voice to the conversation. Creeping Jean: The Supercharger Tour

Creeping Jean are the fast-rising Brighton indie-rock force bringing their fuzz-heavy, hook-stacked sound to a new generation of young, hip music lovers up and down the country. An international gang who’ve made their homes in Brighton, Sheffield and London, the band released their second album Business Is Dead to rave reviews last year, doubling down this year with the Record Store Day limited-edition Clothes Shop 7-inch. Since then, they’ve spent the past year tearing through sold-out rooms and turning heads everywhere they land. They’ve toured with Rival Sons, The Sheepdogs and These Wicked Rivers, shared stages with Miles Kane and Tom Rowley (Arctic Monkeys), and recently set the 100 Club alight at a sold-out show that even drew Jimmy Page into the crowd. The Quarter Sessions

Experience the best new music in town with The Quarter Sessions, a brand-new live music showcase at The Quarterhouse. We are launching these pilot events to support up-and-coming artists and help them grow. Each night features five carefully selected artists or bands, each performing a 20-minute set of their strongest original songs. It is a fantastic chance for emerging creatives to perform on a professional stage and connect with new fans. This project is a true team effort. The venue, promoters, sound engineers, and equipment suppliers are all working together to create a professional live music experience. By sharing their expertise, they are helping to strengthen the local music community.
