Zazen + Samu + Coffee/Chat (9:00am - 11:45am)

Our Sunday morning schedule consists of 9:00am - two 30 minute periods of zazen with kinhin in the middle10:20am - chanting of the Heart Sutra, Sandokai / Hokyozanmai, and the dedication to the patriarchs/matriarchs10:40am - samu - some cleaning work practice. 10:55am - coffee/tea/biscuits and chat!

Introductions + Zazen + Study Group (5:50 - 9:00pm)

Introductions for newcomers begins at 5:50 sharp! (best to come 10 mintues early) Zazen starts at 6:30pm. There is 2 periods of zazen (30 minutes each), with kinhin in the middle, followed by chanting the Heart Sutra at 7:45pm the Study group will discuss our current topic (over a cup of tea) until 8:45 (9pm at the latest) - join us! There is NO STUDY GROUP During December - and double check in the summer months (July/Aug)

Morning Zazen (Mon - Fri 7:00am - 8:10am)

Zazen every weekday morning at the dojo - be sure to arrive 10 minutes early as always.. we strike the han at 5 minutes to the hour. Our morning zazen consists of 30 minutes of zazen, an opportunity to stretch or change your legs, and 30 minutes of zazen followed by a chanting of the Heart Sutra.

Zazen + Dharma Talk/training + Social (6:30pm - 9pm)

Our Friday evening schedule consists of : 6:30pm - 1 period of zazen of 30 or 35 minutes chanting of the 4 bodhisattva vows 7:05pm - a dharma talk, or training, or opportunity to ask questions 7:45pm (ish) - social time! a chance to sit around the table and eat chips and socialise :-)
