Disney's Muppet Christmas Carol In Concert - Film With Live Orchestra

Disney’s The Muppet Christmas Carol in Concert Live to Film is set for a 15-date UK tour this festive season, featuring a screening of the film while the musical score is performed live by an orchestra. The Muppets perform Charles Dickens’ classic holiday tale, with Kermit the Frog playing Bob Cratchit, the put-upon clerk of stingy Ebenezer Scrooge (Michael Caine). Gonzo, as Dickens, narrates the story with the help of Rizzo the Rat. The film also features Miss Piggy as Emily Cratchit, Fozzie Bear as Fozziwig, and Robin the Frog as Tiny Tim. When the grumpy Scrooge receives Christmas Eve visits from the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future, they show him the error of his self-serving ways. Though the miserable old man seems beyond any hope of redemption and happiness, the kind and humble Bob Cratchit, his family, and the Spirits open Scrooge's eyes – and his heart – to the true meaning of Christmas.

Formed in 1972, The Real Thing are Britain’s longest-established - and best-loved - black group in UK entertainment history. The Real Thing remain pioneers in soul, funk and dance music. 2026 is the 50th Anniversary of ‘You To Me Are Everything’ hitting the No 1 slot in the charts, so come out to celebrate the 50th anniversary of one of the most loved No 1 records of all time. Formed in London, UK, Heatwave are a funk/disco group who came into international success in the mid-70s and 80s, known for the hits, “Boogie Nights,” “Always and Forever” and “The Groove Line.” The band came together initially when Germany based active serving American serviceman, Johnnie Wilder, formed his band ‘Johnnie Wilder's Chicago Heatwave’. Rod Temperton answered an advert and flew to Germany to join the band. Johnnie then invited his brother, Keith, to fly over to Germany and join the band.
