The acclaimed David Alacey (Lovejoy & Inspector Alleyn) stars as Frank Sinatra alongside West End Favourite Tim Harwood as Dean Martin. They are joined by former Coronation Street and Hollyoaks star Ashley Campbell as Sammy Davis Jnr in the original Rat Pack show, now celebrating its 25th record breaking year. Together they amaze audiences with their recreation of the music of Sinatra, Martin and Davis, in a fabulous show which brings the style and excitement of the Las Vegas heyday to vivid life. Including all the great hits - My Way, Mr Bojangles, New York New York, Amore, Come Fly With Me! The show also features the BBC Musical Director Mac Shone at The Piano alongside the Buddy Greco All-Stars. Greco who was a member of the real Pack in Vegas and a friend of Marilyn Monroe (having spent the famous last weekend at Lake Tahoe with Sinatra and Marilyn) gave the show his seal of appoval saying “These guys are as close as anyone will ever get to my dear friends, it was just like being back at The Sands” He also adds an authentic touch of Rat Pack style to the show, by making a specially recorded guest appearance.

It Was 60 Years Ago Today - Kings Of Marigold Perform Beatles Classics Live

Kings of Marigold are very much looking forward to returning to Adam Smith Theatre on 15 August to launch our new concert, “It was 60 years ago today…”. This will be another two-hour set and will include the 11 songs on the Beatles set list performed at their final tour gig on 29 August 1966 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. Our last concert at Adam Smith in 2025, when we performed Abbey Road, was a brilliant night, and we are so excited to return! This concert will feature, as well as the Candlestick Park songs, several tracks that The Beatles were never able to play live due to the technological restrictions of the time, so we feel hugely privileged to be able to play these fantastic songs for you- see you on 15th August for this new show! Roll up, roll up… Recommended Age: 12+ This is a Beveridge Suite event with unreserved seating.

The story of Joanna recounting her life in a Glasgow tenement flat, has brought joy, laughter and tears to Scottish audiences. UP A CLOSE tells the story of Joanna reflecting on her life in her Partick tenement flat when her husband doesn't come home one night. As she reminisces about her tough marriage, her children and growing up in the 1970s,the audience is taken on a journey through family, friendship and the ups and downs of working class Glasgow life. From childhood mischief with her best friend Anne Marie to schooldays under the watchful eye of the nuns and dancing up the toon to the Bay City Rollers, Joanna's story is filled with laughter, poignancy and pure Glasgow banter.

Cellist and composer Justyna Jablonska presents Unforeseen: Improvising Life and Music, a new 60-minute multimedia performance that blends virtuosic cello improvisation with live electronics, loops, field recordings, film, and spoken word. At the heart of the work is a simple but powerful idea: that the act of improvising in music mirrors the improvisations people make in their lives. Drawing on conversations and field recordings with immigrants from Poland, Ukraine, and other parts of Eastern Europe, Jablonska explores how memory, music, and identity travel across borders. Fragments of remembered songs, voices, and everyday soundscapes become part of the musical texture, layered with live cello and electronics to create a richly polyphonic sound world. Songs and familiar melodies weave through the performance, while accompanying film and spoken word deepen the narrative dimension of the work. The result is an intimate and immersive performance that reflects on migration, belonging, and the ways music can hold and transform memory. Personal and collective histories intertwine as Jablonska traces connections between her own experience of migration and those of the people whose voices shape the piece.
