We welcome you anytime from 9am until last drop-in check-ins at 12pm. Our address is at Cambridge Room, Unit 55, The Grafton Centre (opposite Decathlon), just 2 doors up from our old unit at Unit 57.No need to book, just turn up with your item needing repair and whilst you wait consult our volunteer home energy advisors about how to reduce energy and water use in your home and find out more about Cambridge Retrofit Hub and Cambridge Room. Our experienced volunteer repairers will do their best to fix things such as electronics, electro-mechanicals, small mechanical items and clothing. Sorry we don't take microwaves, air fryers. Repairs are free; any donations will go to pay volunteer expenses and home energy advisor training for new volunteers for this role.Our experienced volunteer home energy advisors will guide you in the energy and water saving measures you could make to the home you live in, measures appropriate to your living circumstances, in rental or ownership.How to get here: The Grafton Centre is a 20 minute walk from Cambridge Railway Station.

Godmanchester Repair Cafe

Godmanchester Repair Café, Judith’s Field Pavilion, 1 August 2026Godmanchester Repair Café is supported by Godmanchester Town Council. The forthcoming event will be our fourth, The pavilion’s large hall can accommodate seven repairers with a smaller hall used for refreshments. Judith’s Field Pavilion is located on the south side of the town, with ample space for car parking and possibilities for existing/additional repairers to spread outside in fine weather. We have enjoyed the return of repairers to all our events but enquiries from newcomers are always welcome. Repairs to jewellery, and electronic goods, plus alterations to items of clothing have proved particularly popular in the past.

The Centre for Computing History is hosting its second repair cafe as part of the Broken Tech, Broken Earth Project! The repair cafe will run on Saturday the 15th of August 2026 from 5pm-8pm. University of Cambridge Repair Cafe

Bring along your broken item and an experienced volunteer repairer will help you fix it – or at least have a good go trying! We can tackle a wide variety of repairs including clothes, textiles, jewellery and other items. We are not repairing any electricals, electronics or bikes at this repair cafe. The repairers are brilliant and can fix a lot of things but there are no guarantees.Bookings for this event will open in July.It’s a free event but donations are welcome. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available free of charge. There are also cafes and restaurants nearby on Regent Street.The central Cambridge bus station and railway station are within 20 minutes' walk. Cycle parking is available. Car parking is only available to blue badge holders on request. There is also free parking for blue badge holders outside the museum.This event is run in partnership with Cambridge Carbon Footprint and insured by Wessex Insurance. St Paul's Swish (Hills Road)

St Paul's Church on Hills Road are excited to be organising their very first Swish (clothes swap party). This free event is open to all. Please bring along women's, men's and children's clothes, shoes and accessories that are clean and in good condition and swap them for ones that are new to you! Swishes are a fun, sustainable way to refresh your wardrobe whilst reducing fashion waste. Drop off clothes between 1pm and 1:45pm for swapping to start at 2pm, ending 4pm.

Great Shelford Repair CafeBring along your broken item and a skilled volunteer will help you fix it! We can tackle a wide variety of repairs including electrical and electronic devices, as well as clothes and fabrics.Please do book in your item for repair – this helps us plan our schedule so we can avoid people having to wait, and also means we can do our homework in advance to assess the repair.Bookings will open in August and will close on the Monday before the event, or earlier if we reach full capacity). We will send out booking confirmations in the week before the event.Please note that we will not be able to replace cracked screens on phones or tablets. Buckden PC Repair Cafe

Hello! We’ll be back at Buckden Village Hall between 1.30 and 4.30 p.m. on Saturday 26th September and look forward to seeing you there! Bookings will open on August 31st. To pre-book, please complete the booking form at bit.ly/BuckdenRepairCafe, or contact us at Paper forms will also be available in Buckden Library or from the Village Hall.You can just turn up on the day but may have to wait. Never mind though, there’ll be tea, cakes/savouries to purchase at the Café. If you’ve nothing to be mended, please do join us for a cuppa. Donations can be made by cash or card.Thank you to everyone who came to our last event in June. Once again our repairers managed to fix 4 out of every 5 items, and only 2 out of the 51 seen had to be consigned to the bin.
