University of Cambridge Repair Cafe

About this event

Bring along your broken item and an experienced volunteer repairer will help you fix it – or at least have a good go trying! We can tackle a wide variety of repairs including clothes, fabrics, jewellery, electrical and electronic devices, and other items. Please note that we will not be able to replace cracked screens on phones or tablets. The repairers are brilliant and can fix a lot of things but there are no guarantees. Bookings for this event will open in AugustIt’s a free event but donations are welcome. Tea and cake will be available for volunteers. There is a cafe and restaurant on site.The venue is served by the Universal bus and cycle parking is available. Carparking is only available to volunteers and on request. The closest public car parking is Madingley Road Park and Ride.This event is run in partnership with Cambridge Carbon Footprint and insured by Wessex Insurance.
