Beatles Complete

Direct from the world famous Cavern Club, Liverpool. Beatles Complete present a night of Beatlemania packed with massive hits from the most influential band of all time. Having now performed over 200 shows at the world famous Cavern Club, this Liverpool based ‘beat combo’ are the youngest ever Beatles band to gain a residency at the Cavern Club in Liverpool where they still perform on Thursdays and some Saturdays. Aged between 18 and 22 Beatles Complete are the closest thing you will get to the unbridled joy of seeing the young Beatles when they first lit up the world. They can’t promise all the screaming and tears from the 60’s but they can give you a host of classic songs brilliantly performed by a band who are becoming a force to be reckoned with in the Beatle world. Having performed at St Austell Arts Theatre in 2025, the lads have been invited to return again for 2026 and are continuing to take their extended show to theatres across the UK. ​

Rose of Nevada with Live Score

Missing fishing trawler Rose of Nevada mysteriously returns to a Cornish harbour. Two young men join its new crew, unaware of how their fates are about to change. Mark Jenkin’s haunting third feature continues his exploration of Cornish folk myth. Zine & Badge Making

Join The Pearl Exchange for a free creative workshop at CAST. This will be a relaxed making session open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 35, and is part of a series of five workshops they are running across Devon and Cornwall. The Pearl Exchange team will bring with them a range of tools and materials and invite you to join them to make zines ( mini DIY magazines/books/pamphlets) and badges, or simply to take time to explore ideas through collage, drawing or writing in a welcoming social environment. Free tea, coffee and snacks will be provided. The National Garden Scheme Hosts a Special Event at Lanjeth Nursery and Water Gardens, St Austell PL26 7TL Wednesday 22 July 2-5pm Private Guided Talk and Tour, welcome drink and cream tea £18 A limited number of tickets are available for an exclusive talk and guided tour by one of the owners. Concessions (advance only) £15 Dates About this event One of the UK’s high-rising songwriters Sarah Yeo, performs material in her own “beautiful voice” (BBC) from Joan’s early career from the first recording, ‘Harvard Square’ and onward through her lengthy journey to date, telling pivotalstories and singing key songs from the Newport Festival days, her years in Nashville, activism around the world, her relationship both on and off the stage with Bob Dylan, and her love of recording just great songs. The set list takes note of the current political climate and includes self penned songs ‘Diamonds and Rust’, ‘The Winds of the Old Days’, Dylan greats such as ‘Love Is Just A Four Letter Word’, ‘There But For Fortune’, ‘Farewell Angelina’ and the wonderful catalogue from songwriters Stevie Wonder, PhilOchs, Janis Ian and not forgetting the early Folk covers, ‘The Banks of the Ohio’, ‘House of the Rising Sun’ and many more hits. Sarah, a recent finalist in the ‘International Songwriting Competition’, also delves into the Spanish language repertoire Joan loved so much. Sarah’s ‘warm rich voice’ with sweet higher notes, lends itself perfectly for this special evening of songs and stories. As Sarah learns more about Miss Baez’s life and career, she feels she can relate to her in many ways, making the project a very personal, interesting and inspiring experience.

Mixed Media Workshop

The first part of the workshop will be spent drawing around St Ives Harbour, exploring various abstract approaches to capture different elements of the scene. Back in the studio, you will be shown how to extract a composition from your drawings to develop into a fresh mixed-media abstract piece. Using a combination of drawing, collage and acrylic paint, you’ll experiment with layering, editing and reworking your ideas, discovering new ways to build a composition that feel expressive and individual.
