Host: Karen Bayley An award-winning Birmingham-born stand-up comedian and writer, known for her bold, no-nonsense style and sharp one-liners. Dave Bailey Combining observational storytelling with improv. a natural Comedian with a dry wit, observational material and an effortless improviser. He has performed at various Comedy Festivals and Comedy Clubs across the UK. Adele Cliff She was the first (and currently the only) woman to be named UK Pun Champion (in 2020) Edd Hedges An award-winning UK stand-up comedian and storyteller. Known for blending humour with emotional depth. Noted for its powerful real-life storytelling, and is widely regarded as a thoughtful and distinctive voice in Comedy.

Drink, Draw, Write

A relaxed creative evening. Draw and/or write, and socialise, no experience needed. We have been trying something new for a few months. If you like the idea of what we are trying to do, please become part of it and help get it off the ground. Drink, Draw, Write is a relaxed monthly creative social meet up. Bring your sketchbook (or just yourself), have a drink, and spend a couple of hours drawing, writing, and unwinding in good company. This is not a class as such, but an opportunity to mark some time in your diary to be creative. Each session includes: – A theme and prompts to get you going creatively (unless you already have your own project on the way, we will not hold you back) – Inspirational reference material – Pens, paper, and some other art supplies to borrow, but we encourage you to bring your own favorites. (yes, digital is fine too) – An opportunity to share your work (only if you want to) You will also be able to join the associated WhatsApp group, allowing you to communicate with other creatives. Please prebook tickets; it really helps us plan and make sure we can run these events. Double head liner of acclaimed singer-songwriters ED BLUNT Hailed by Rolling Stone for his “astonishing mastery of his craft”, Ed Blunt writes story songs that will both make you laugh and gently break your heart. Featured on BBC Radio and selected to play in all 620 Caffè Nero branches, his music blends folk, jazz and roots with a dry Randy Newman-esque wit. Stumbling on an online songwriting camp during the Covid lockdown proved to be a turning point. Mentor Chris Difford (of Squeeze) discovered his talent for the first time, calling him a “quiet genius.” Since then, Ed has released two acclaimed albums—Over The Moon (2022) and Grown Up (2024)—and collaborated with Beth Nielsen Chapman, Jamie Lawson, and Elles Bailey. KATEY BROOKS Katey is an award winning singer, songwriter, producer. Growing up inside a cult, as a child Katey found refuge in song. Later, she travelled the world with her guitar on her back, writing everywhere from the Occupied West Bank to an abandoned Finnish island. She has recorded with Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones and Paloma Faith at Abbey Road for BBC Radio 2’s Children in Need single. She has shared bills with a host of big names including Cat Burns, Yola, Newton Faulkner, Ghostpoet, Martin Simpson, Deaf Havana, and Mike and the Mechanics.

Ceilidh - Many Trees Folk and Dance Club

A new Friday night social event, with live music, dancing and drinks of course! This is a dance class with extras! There is a live caller and band guiding the two dance sessions: The first session at 7:30pm an Introduction Session, a relaxed beginner-friendly class with more teaching. The second session at 9:15pm is a Social Dance Session, a livelier guided session for returning dancers and confident beginners Each session is an hour and fifteen minutes, and £12 per session. A great night out and brilliant way to spend the evening with friends or making new ones. Spaces are limited so make sure you book early.
