Stop things going into land fill and bring them here to be repaired. We have team of fixers from different industries. If they can’t fix it there and then, they can advise you at least on what to do or where to go. Its totally free service, so if we can fix it for free great if not someone can advise you on how. We’ll even provide you with free tea and coffee whilst you wait! We have sewers, electric engineers and general handy people here to help.

A relaxed creative evening. Draw and/or write, and socialise, no experience needed. We have been trying something new for a few months. If you like the idea of what we are trying to do, please become part of it and help get it off the ground. Drink, Draw, Write is a relaxed monthly creative social meet up. Bring your sketchbook (or just yourself), have a drink, and spend a couple of hours drawing, writing, and unwinding in good company. This is not a class as such, but an opportunity to mark some time in your diary to be creative. Each session includes: – A theme and prompts to get you going creatively (unless you already have your own project on the way, we will not hold you back) – Inspirational reference material – Pens, paper, and some other art supplies to borrow, but we encourage you to bring your own favorites. Join Haunting Nights on The Witch Finder General Ghost Hunt here in Manningtree! Haunting Nights Bring you closer to the story than ever before of the Essex Witch Trials It has been reported many times that the ghost of Matthew Hopkins, the self-proclaimed Witchfinder General, can been seen, especially on nights of a full moon. The ghostly apparition is seen dressed in 17th century clothing close to Mistley ‘ducking’ Pond and the nearby ‘hopping’ bridge not far from St. Marys Church, Mistley. Other reports claim that the ghost of his first victim, the elderly and crippled Elizabeth Clarke appears on the shores of Seafield Bay. Elizabeth was dragged out of The Red Lion public house by Matthew Hopkins as he loudly accused her of being a witch, following a previous accusation by the local tailor John Rivet. Elizabeth was convicted and sentenced to death by hanging. This conviction convinced Hopkins that he was right to accuse her so he proclaimed himself “The Witchfinder General” Join the team as they investigate the hauntings of Matthew Hopkins Witch Finder General.
