Immersion Theatre are thrilled to bring their trademark energy to The Freston Boot with a wildly entertaining musical adaptation of the Rudyard Kipling family favourite, THE JUNGLE BOOK! Filled with original music, audience interaction, and a host of larger-than-life characters, you are invited to join Mowgli and his friends, Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther, on a madcap jungle adventure. Meet and attempt to outwit a slithering snake, some cheeky monkeys, and the fierce tiger, Shere Khan! Funny, exciting, and “AOOO-some,” this musical will have the whole family howling with laughter. Hosted in the atmospheric setting of our Tipi on 8th August, this immersive evening promises a thrilling “whodunnit” that’ll keep you guessing until the very end. From the moment you arrive, the lines between reality and performance begin to blur. Our professional actors don’t just perform from a stage; they’re seated at the tables amongst you, dining as part of your group. You’ll have to keep your wits about you to figure out who’s a genuine guest and who’s a killer hiding in plain sight. The evening includes a delicious two-course meal and a fully interactive murder mystery experience set to a suave jazz soundtrack. Whether you’re a seasoned sleuth or simply looking for a Saturday night with a difference, this is a show-stopping event you won’t want to miss. Want to know more about the plot? It’s 1925 and Lady violet is throwing another of her famous soiree’s, it’s the hottest ticket in town and everyone is looking for an invite. The Gin is flowing and the Jazz is hot but does the dancing on the tables hide a dark secret.
