Immersion Theatre are thrilled to bring their trademark energy to The Freston Boot with a wildly entertaining musical adaptation of the Rudyard Kipling family favourite, THE JUNGLE BOOK! Filled with original music, audience interaction, and a host of larger-than-life characters, you are invited to join Mowgli and his friends, Baloo the bear and Bagheera the panther, on a madcap jungle adventure. Meet and attempt to outwit a slithering snake, some cheeky monkeys, and the fierce tiger, Shere Khan! Funny, exciting, and “AOOO-some,” this musical will have the whole family howling with laughter. It’s the perfect summer treat in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Event Details & FAQ: Duration: Approx. 100 minutes (including interval). Doors Open at 5:30pm and performance starts at 6:00pm Age Suitability: Recommended for ages 4+. (Under 3s go free!) Seating: Please bring your own low-backed chairs or rugs for the garden. We are thrilled to partner with Jackie from The Well Heeled Hound for a unique, “on-the-job” training experience where your dog learns pub manners while you enjoy your brunch. This is a practical, guided workshop in a real-world setting at our historic dog friendly pub Suffolk location. The Experience: This is a hands-on learning experience designed to make social outings a breeze. Jackie will be on hand to guide you through the session, helping you and your pooch navigate the challenges of a public space in real-time. You’ll be actively working with your dog to encourage calm behaviour and settle techniques—even while navigating your coffee and avocado toast! The Goal: By practicing these skills in a safe, supported environment with professional coaching, you’ll leave with the tools to take your dog anywhere. We pride ourselves on a welcoming atmosphere where the learning is practical and the brunch is the perfect accompaniment to your hard work. We believe that a dog friendly pub Suffolk should be a space where both the owner and the hound can feel at ease, even when there are other dogs and diners nearby. Open Farm Sunday at Woodlands Farm

Come on down to our arable farm in Holbrook for a look at what we are growing and how. Come and meet some local livestock, see some modern and vintage machinery, and bring your burning questions for our shed of industry experts! Don’t miss a tractor and trailer tour of the farm too. We’ll have plenty of food and drink on offer, and games for all ages to have a go at. We charge the small fee of £3 per person to enter, as we are keen fundraisers for the local air ambulance charity. Please try to pre-book your tickets with the above link! There will be lots to see and do, so come and join us for a fun day down on the farm. About this farm: Woodlands Farm is a family run arable farm growing mainly chipping potatoes, wheat, winter & spring barley, oilseed rape, sugar beet and onions, with other diversifications such as our farm shop. Currently farming 650+ acres on the Shotley Peninsula, we are keen on our protection of the environment and the wildlife of the farm, so we're participating in the mid-tier stewardship scheme.
