Reiki with Sue

Reiki with Sue is on Mondays in the library, term-time only, at the new time of 10am – 12 noon. A donation of £2+ for a 15 minute session would be appreciated. Reiki is a type of energy healing. Reiki practitioners like our volunteer, Sue, believe that improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, relieve pain, speed healing and reduce other symptoms of illness. During a session the client will sit in a comfortable chair, in a quiet area, fully clothed.

Quirky Quilters

This is a small, friendly group who meet in the library on Monday afternoons from 2.00-4.00pm to enjoy sewing crafts of all types. Bring your sewing along and enjoy their company. There’s no charge and hot drinks are available for just £1.30, with a small pack of biscuits for 50p.

Fun with Norman and Neisha

Fun with Norman and Neisha is for Under 5s who belong to Norman Bear’s Club, every Tuesday in the library from 10.30-11.10am. It’s for accompanied children who love story-based songs, music and dance. This is a free event but donations to the library are always welcome!

Luke will be in the library on Tuesday 14 April from 1.00-3.00pm with advice on Social Care, Energy, Befriending, Housing and Benefits. No appointment needed.

Tuesday Mah Jong Club

The Mah Jong Club meets on Tuesdays from 1.30 – 3.30pm and on – 12.30pm. We also hold beginners classes from time to time. If you’d like to learn to play just let us know.

Norman Bear’s Storytime

Norman Bear welcomes members of his club to Storytime on Wednesday mornings during term-time, from 10.15-10.45am. This is for accompanied pre-school children who enjoy stories, songs and nursery rhymes. New members are always welcome! There’s no charge for this event but donations to help us run the library are always welcome.
