Coffee Morning These coffee mornings, happen at the same time as Hatherleigh market and provides a space to retreat for hot drinks and delicious food when you’ve done the shopping. Having run for many years, they are a familiar drop in for many and provide a time and space to catch up with friends, especially for those a bit isolated or living alone. They are hosted by different groups each week who take the opportunity for fund raising for their own causes.

Youth Café

Youth Café Run in the ‘Old Schools’ building in Hatherleigh Square, every Thursday evening. Completely free for ages 13-18, this includes, hot and cold food, table top games, pool table and Wii, but mostly, fun and friendship in a safe, nurturing environment overseen by our fully trained and vetted team drawn from Hatherleigh’s three churches.

3rd Sundays; Praise and Prayer

3rd Sundays; Praise and Prayer (7pm) An opportunity to spend longer in sung worship, introducing newer songs led by the worship team of musicians. This will be a much less formal gathering with contributions of prayer or input coming from the congregation as well as the ‘front’. As we also believe in the work of the Holy Spirit it is possible that you may see and hear the gifts of the Holy Spirit, as described in the bible, in use.

4th Sundays; Team service. (11am) Our team of ‘Lay worship Leaders’ take responsibility this week while the vicar is away at other churches. It is an opportunity for something a little different and anything could happen! Musical styles vary and there may be a more creative reading of the bible. We may have visiting speakers on this Sunday to share about God’s work in the wider world.
