Dementia Accessible Cinema: The Wizard of Oz

Join us for a dementia-accessible film screening of the classic The Wizard Of Oz – a relaxed and welcoming cinema experience designed with those living with dementia, their families, and carers in mind. Doors open at 12pm for tea, coffee and cake (available for a donation), with each film classic favourites in a calm environment where the lights are slightly up, the volume is gentle, and you're free to move around or talk if needed. Each film will have an interval to provide a movement and comfort break. We will have additional staff and signage available to help you, and there is an accessible route into the studio. Everyone is welcome – whether you're living with dementia, caring for someone who is, or simply want to enjoy a classic film in a friendly, understanding space. To ensure a safe and comfortable visit, we kindly ask that anyone living with dementia is accompanied by a carer or companion for the duration of the event. Join Carol Decker & T’Pau on their first full UK tour in a decade playing all their hits, fan favourites and songs from their forthcoming album ‘Be Wonderful’.
