Stage Combat (8-10)

This workshop is designed to introduce the fundamentals of stage combat. You will learn how to safely throw punches and kicks as well as staging chokes, grapples, throws and falls. The first rule of Squire Stage Combat's fight club is that no one gets hurt! This taster session is run by a professional fight director with credits ranging from The Rings of Power to The Glyndebourne Opera. The session involves developing a "toolbox fight" which uses as many different stage combat techniques as possible allowing students to explore the creation of an action sequence.
