Following up on the success of his 2024 Criss Cross release 'Lovabye', Gregory returns with a new book of original music performed by a stellar cast of musicians, including: Joel Ross, Paul Cornish, Harish Raghavan & Kendrick Scott! New York-born and Boston-bred, emerging saxophonist, composer, and educator Gregory Groover Jr has already left an indelible mark in the jazz world, in a short period. Saxophonist Walter Smith III describes him as a “thematic musician, who's playing very much relates to the song. He plays with a lot of energy, and he leads with that. The heart is the most important thing – the direction and motion of what he plays is where he really feels.” Groover’s artistry seamlessly marries genres as he continues to push the boundaries of jazz while honoring its deep legacy. Raised with a devotion for music, Groover’s journey in music began at a young age. His passion for jazz flourished as he honed his craft, eventually earning him a full tuition scholarship to pursue his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Performance Studies at Berklee College of Music.

Isabella Hallia Quartet

Isabella Hallia is a Montréal-based jazz vocalist whose lyrical voice and warm, resonant tone bring fresh sensitivity to the timeless sound of traditional vocal jazz. She draws her inspiration from icons such as Anita O’Day, Carmen McRae, Sarah Vaughan, and Mel Tormé. With the release of her debut album, Isabella Hallia: A Formal Introduction, her performance puts a spotlight on songs from the album as well as other favourite standards of hers. Her musical selection consists of her original compositions, written in the style of the Great American Songbook, and her arrangements of jazz standards that are less commonly performed. This concert is a candid portrait of Isabella's musical and personal self. Isabella is a Montreal-based vocalist performing at concerts, corporate events, weddings, fundraisers, festivals, restaurants, and lounges. Jazz is the focus of Isabella’s musicianship, and she is a graduate of McGill University with a Bachelor of Jazz Performance. As band leader of a quartet and trio, she performs a curated repertoire of self-arranged tunes from the Great American Songbook, as well as originals. Isabella seeks to share her passion with a broader audience. In 2024, she produced and released 3 Live Session Recordings.

The Girls Are Back in Town Bob Harris from BBC Radio 2 referred to them as “one of the best live bands in Britain.” The ladies’ roll-call list is simply mind blowing – as are the stories the ladies readily share of their life in music. Roger Daltrey “Nikki Lamborn has the best female rock voice since Janis Joplin.“ The legendary Dame Shirley Bassey called the girls “inspirational," and, on hearing Nikki sing their original song The Living Tree said, “I got goosebumps and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up." Never The Bride are Nikki Lamborn and Catherine Feeney and …their biography reads like a Who’s Who of rock music, having performed alongside The Who, Robert Plant, Gary Moore, Paul Rogers, Eric Clapton, Alice Cooper, The Pretenders, Status Quo and many more. In 1995 they received a gold disc for their contribution on the record “Encomium, A tribute to Led Zeppelin,” on which they performed an unforgettable version of ‘Going to California.’ their live performance of the song being quoted recently as a Top 10 moment in 25 years of Live Music at The Viper Room LA, USA.
