Fresh from New York, Cuban-Salvadoran Ana Villafañe introduces herself to the London music scene while starring in “Sinatra: The Musical” (her West End debut). Known for originating the role of Gloria Estefan in Broadway’s “On Your Feet” and for portraying the title character in the upcoming feature film Castro’s Daughter opposite James Franco, Villafañe brings star power and charisma to the stage. Following sold-out solo shows at venues including Joe’s Pub, SoHo House New York, and Amelia’s 1931 in Miami, Ana Villafañe: Unplugged offers a rare opportunity to experience a newly minted West End star up close and personal. Expect pop and Latin hits performed in a style distinctly her own, along with her debut single, “Suelta.” Fresh from New York with Cuban and Salvadoran roots, Ana Villafañe introduces herself to the London music scene while starring in “Sinatra: the Musical” (West End debut) from director Kathleen Marshall and produced by Universal Music. She plays the title character in upcoming feature film Castro’s Daughter, opposite James Franco and currently voices “Eva Eight” on AppleTV+’s Emmy award-winning WondLa (TCA award nomination). BBC Radio 1 featured artist Rosie Holloway brings her debut show to PizzaExpress Live for the long awaited launch of her EP, London Girl. Expect lots of surprises including a brand new string arrangement of her latest single, Heartbeat. Special guests tbc. Born to Irish descendants, Rosie was raised in London, training in guitar from a young age under Tim Pells across a range of genres, alongside classical vocal training to Grade 8 with Carol Savage. She developed a deep love for songwriting in her teens, drawn to the art of storytelling through music. A multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, Rosie blends soul, folk and jazz with a distinctly classic British songwriting style. Inspired by artists such as Bill Withers, Tracy Chapman, Eva Cassidy, Elton John and The Beatles, she has secured a publishing deal with BMG and performed at renowned venues including Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s and Glastonbury Festival. Her debut EP London Girl captures the story of a working-class woman in her 20s, exploring life’s trials and tribulations with humour and heartfelt honesty. The project moves fluidly across soul, jazz and folk, always in service of the music. She now looks forward to bringing her show to the iconic PizzaExpress Live. For over 20 years, the Purcell School Jazz Department has been proudly training young jazz musicians for a career in music, with notable alumni such as Jacob Collier, Alexandra Ridout, Jas Kayser, Kit Downes and Seth Tackaberry. Come and watch the stars of tomorrow, today! Under the tutelage of saxophonist and Head of Jazz Simon Allen and a faculty of top jazz musicians and educators, students at the Purcell School develop their instrumental and compositional skills to the highest level, gaining places at major Conservatoires before going on to successful performing careers. Eight-time British Jazz Award Winner Claire Martin began her career aged 19 and two years later realised her dream of singing at Ronnie Scott’s legendary jazz club in London Soho. Signed to the prestigious Glasgow based Linn Records in 1990, she released 18 CDs with the label, collaborating with musical luminaries including Martin Taylor, John Martyn, Stephane Grappelli, Kenny Barron, Richard Rodney Bennett and Jim Mullen on many of these recordings. Claire has performed worldwide with her trio and, until his death in 2012, worked extensively with the celebrated composer and pianist Sir Richard Rodney Bennett.

Following her sell out performance last year, the award-winning singer Patti Boulaye returns to The Pheasantry with her show 'Personal', offering a wonderful celebration of songs and amusing anecdotes from the various shows that Patti has performed in on tour and in the West End. Included in this show will be songs from Mary Poppins, Hair, The Black Mikado, Carmen Jones, South Pacific, The Night We Buried Judy Garland and many more. Patti will also be performing and relating stories from her own one-woman hit touring shows, Diana & Me, Billie & Me and Aretha & Me. Patti who made her West End debut in the musical Hair and featured in Two Gentlemen of Verona, has released 9 albums and has made over 300 TV appearances as a singer and actress. She is also founder and President of the Charity “Support for Africa.” Patti produced two brilliantly successful sell-out concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and one in Scotland to raise money for her charity, which has built 5 Healthcare Centres in Nigeria and Cameroon and helped to finance a school with Prince Harry’s Charity Sentebale, in Lesotho. Patti was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the Joint Council of Churches in 2018 and an OBE from The King in 2016. Most recently Patti has been on the UK/Ireland tour with Sir Cameron Mackintosh’s production of Mary Poppins, playing to full houses, as the iconic "Bird Woman." Patti will be joined by her Musical Director Allan Rogers.
