Toads Stage Musical Company return to the Palace Theatre, following their success with “Everybody’s Talking About Jamie” with the wonderful musical WE WILL ROCK YOU, which features the music and lyrics of Queen, with a story and script by Ben Elton. This is a high octane adrenaline fuelled musical featuring more than 20 iconic Queen hits including “Bohemian Rhapsody” “We are the Champions” “Somebody to Love” “Don’t Stop me Now” and of course “We Will Rock You”. Set in a post apocalyptic future where individuality has been outlawed and music is controlled by algorithms, the story follows two young revolutionaries who dare to defy the system to save rock n roll. It is a musical for our time filled with the timeless power of Queens legendary music. Its 12 year London run ensured that it made West End history and it is a celebration of the power of music and individuality.

Book now for this fantastic ten week creative writing course which runs from 22 April to 24 June (every Wednesday) This ten-week course with Chris Woodhouse is an opportunity for those who enjoy creative writing to have fun sharing work, ideas and motivation. It is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience of writing who would welcome guidance, encouragement and feedback. Chris has created and taught many courses and workshops in the subject for over thirty years. Sessions will include sharing work, discussion, writing exercises and suggested topics and will be supported with some taught elements and printed handouts, designed to extend skills and knowledge. Whether you are a short story writer, a poet, a teller of anecdotes, want to write your memoirs or novels or just want to explore different forms of creative writing you will be made very welcome. An evening with Jimmy Tarbuck

JIMMY TARBUCK OBE, one of the most popular household names from the golden era of British stand up, is back with a bang: The much-loved entertainer is on tour through the spring and summer 2026 with his solo show ‘An Evening with Jimmy Tarbuck’ which stops off at some of his favourite towns and venues in the UK. And he can’t wait. Jimmy says: “It’s been great, and I love getting on stage, where I belong. Now I am really looking forward to visiting the towns and cities where I learned my craft and built my fanbase. The crowds are always on great form and always ready to laugh.
