Youth Alpha

Youth Alpha is a weekly gathering for young people aged 13 to 18. It is aimed primarily at confirmation candidates, but any young person is welcome to come along. You meet on Tuesday evenings to share food, build friendships, and explore the Christian faith together. Each session includes time to eat, watch short Alpha content, and talk honestly about life, faith, and questions you may already have. There is no pressure to speak. You can listen or join in at your own pace. Youth Alpha helps confirmation candidates grow in understanding and confidence in their faith, while welcoming any young person who wants to learn more about Jesus. Tuesdays. Ages 13 to 18. Drink, Draw, Write

A relaxed creative evening. Draw and/or write, and socialise, no experience needed. We have been trying something new for a few months. If you like the idea of what we are trying to do, please become part of it and help get it off the ground. Drink, Draw, Write is a relaxed monthly creative social meet up. Bring your sketchbook (or just yourself), have a drink, and spend a couple of hours drawing, writing, and unwinding in good company. This is not a class as such, but an opportunity to mark some time in your diary to be creative. Each session includes: – A theme and prompts to get you going creatively (unless you already have your own project on the way, we will not hold you back) – Inspirational reference material – Pens, paper, and some other art supplies to borrow, but we encourage you to bring your own favorites. (yes, digital is fine too) – An opportunity to share your work (only if you want to) You will also be able to join the associated WhatsApp group, allowing you to communicate with other creatives. Please prebook tickets; it really helps us plan and make sure we can run these events. We understand decisions can sometimes be made at the last minute, and we will do our best to accommodate you at the door.
