Jo and Lucy are well-known for their sustainable floristry techniques, using seasonal flowers and foliage from their own cutting gardens to create arrangements and displays throughout the South-West for weddings and events. You will learn how and when and which flowers to grow from seed, and how to create natural centrepiece arrangements and hand tied bouquets. Learn which flowers you can grow from seed, how to cut and properly condition them; and then we will demonstrate and teach you to arrange beautiful garden flowers in a bowl centrepiece arrangement. Whether you are nurturing a budding passion, refining an existing skill or you are a complete novice this workshop offers the perfect introduction to the art of floral design for the home. We will provide all you need including the bowl and mechanics, foliage and flowers, as well as tea/coffee and cake from the fabulous Abbot's Table Café. You will be able to take your display home with you. Join us for a fun, entertaining session – and to develop lasting skills.

Wild Arts Opera - The Marriage of Figaro

The Marriage of Figaro After the success of their previous performances Wild Arts return in 2026 with The Marriage of Figaro. The performances will take place in the beautiful Great Hall in the main house, with room for only 175 audience members. The operas will be fully staged, in costume and sung in English by a cast of exceptional singers, with a chamber orchestra of top musicians, conducted by Wild Arts' Artistic Director Orlando Jopling. You are welcome to arrive from 5pm to set up your picnic in the gardens, and bring food, drink, rugs, chairs, tables, friends, and candelabras. The performance will start at 6pm, with a 90-minute picnic interval at approximately 7:15pm before Act II starts at 8.45pm. Curtain down will be at approximately 10pm. Please book early - last year's opera sold out.
