About this event
Join Jo and Lucy from Meadow Brook Floristry on Tuesday 21st July to master how to use beautiful flowers and foliage from your own garden, learning to create gorgeous displays for your home. Jo and Lucy are well-known for their sustainable floristry techniques, using seasonal flowers and foliage from their own cutting gardens to create arrangements and displays throughout the South-West for weddings and events. You will learn how and when and which flowers to grow from seed, and how to create natural centrepiece arrangements and hand tied bouquets. Learn which flowers you can grow from seed, how to cut and properly condition them; and then we will demonstrate and teach you to arrange beautiful garden flowers into a hand-tied bouquet. No experience is necessary and we will provide all the foliage and flowers plus tea/coffee and cake from the fabulous Abbot's Table Café. You will be able to take your bouquet home for yourself, or as the perfect present for someone special. Join us for a fun, entertaining session – and to develop lasting skills.
