From Seed Sowing to Displays and Bouquets Join Jo and Lucy from Meadow Brook Floristry on Tuesday 21st July to master how to use beautiful flowers and foliage from your own garden, learning to create gorgeous displays for your home. Jo and Lucy are well-known for their sustainable floristry techniques, using seasonal flowers and foliage from their own cutting gardens to create arrangements and displays throughout the South-West for weddings and events. You will learn how and when and which flowers to grow from seed, and how to create natural centrepiece arrangements and hand tied bouquets. Learn which flowers you can grow from seed, how to cut and properly condition them; and then we will demonstrate and teach you to arrange beautiful garden flowers in a bowl centrepiece arrangement. Whether you are nurturing a budding passion, refining an existing skill or you are a complete novice this workshop offers the perfect introduction to the art of floral design for the home. We will provide all you need including the bowl and mechanics, foliage and flowers, as well as tea/coffee and cake from the fabulous Abbot's Table Café. You will be able to take your display home with you. Join us for a fun, entertaining session – and to develop lasting skills.
