Moving Pictures - Rush Tribute

“If you missed seeing RUSH live, MOVING PICTURES is as close as you’ll ever get to the real thing.” Moshville Times These guys (and girl - drummer Jamie Dunleavey from St Andrews) are one of the hardest working tribute bands on the planet, touring the UK, Europe, Brazil and Canada including Lakeside Park for Neil Peart's family in 2023 and Massey Hall for RUSHfest Canada in August 2025. 2026 celebrates 50 years of RUSH’s 2112 album. Tonight’s show sees Moving Pictures play the 2112 suite in full as well as songs from every RUSH era. Author Event With Tariq Ashkanani

Come along to Duloch Library for an exciting evening with award-winning Scottish crime author, Tariq Ashkanani. Tariq’s first book, Welcome to Cooper, was published in 2021 and won the Blood Scotland Debut Award. His latest novel The Midnight King, was awarded the McIlvanney Award for the Scottish Crime Book of 2025. The book is a thriller about the son of a serial killer returning home for his father's funeral. The celebrated author leaves behind a manuscript which forms a fictionalised confession and a box filled with mementos from each of the children he as killed, including one from a girl who went missing days before his death. Fife Brass Band Festival

The Fife Brass Band Festival is an annual competition for up to 16 contesting brass bands from Scotland and further afield. This year, 2026, the event will be held in the Carnegie Hall, Dunfermline, on Saturday , April 25th, band will play, onstage, a 20 minute entertainment programme of own choice music, to be judged on musical performance and entertainment value. The Fife Brass Band Festival is open to the public who will be treated to a day of live music making which will cater for all tastes. Something for everyone. All ages are welcome. While the results are being prepared after the last competing band has played, the cooperation youth brass band will play a 25 minute concert. Trophies and awards will be presented thereafter.
