Whether it’s gadgets, clothes, or furniture, this is your chance to learn, share, and mend in a fun, friendly setting. No tech skills needed—just a can-do attitude! Come hang out, chat, and help make waste a thing of the past. See you there for some hands-on repair magic! To book your item in, email us at , pop by ahead of the session during out opening hours, or fill in the first page of the form on Repair Cafe Wales’ website: https://repaircafewales.org/what-are-you-having-repaired-today/ Select the last location in the drop-down menu ‘Wrexham, Ty Pawb (Lend and Mend)’ and fill in as much information as your can about what’s wrong with your item. At the bottom of that first page select Save for Later and enter the email address to send what you’ve filled in so far to us! We’ll complete the rest of the form at the session. If you have skills that you’re looking to share, get in touch about volunteering. We’d love anyone with skills in sewing, electronics, bicycles, woodwork, computers, jewellery repair…or pretty much anything else! Please note: Repair sessions and kinds of repairs depend on the volunteer availability. Please get in touch with us ahead of the session to confirm we’ll have the skills available to help.

Bring along your broken or damaged item and our volunteer repairers will try to fix it, for free. You can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and chat to your fellow neighbours while you wait. We’ll even show you how it is done too if you like! The best way to reuse and recycle there is. Typical repairs include; basic bicycle maintenance, electrical appliance repair, computing assistance, sewing, ornament repair, and woodworking; though we will have a look at most things, except Microwaves as they are too dangerous. Got any questions? Just drop us a message on Facebook or Twitter, and we will do our best to ensure a repairer is available to fix your item. More fixers are always welcome – come along even if it is just to find out what is going on, and tell your friends! See you there!

Summer of Play at Erddig

Step into the carnival and get active on our family-friendly garden trail this summer. Test your skills at the coconut shy, try your hand at hooking a duck, and enjoy storytelling in our mini puppet theatre. You can also have a go at skittles, ring toss, pin the tail on the donkey, or limber up for the limbo. Alongside the carnival trail, there are plenty of creative activities to enjoy: Doodle Mondays on Mondays, 10am–5pm - a self-led activity where you can add your own creation to our wall of art; carnival mask-making every Wednesday, 11am–3pm and Fine Art Fridays every Friday, 11am-3pm 18 July, 1 August, 15 August, 11am-3pm: Face painting 18 August: Enjoy performances from Punch and Judy. There are three 20 minute performances between 1pm and 3pm. Activities are free to enjoy but normal admission charges apply, National Trust members enter for free.
