Children's crochet Hosts: Val Riddiough and Shirley Mawhinney Time: 2pm - 4pm Price: £15 This workshop is for children who are aged 8+. Crochet requires a level of dexterity in their fingers that usually hasn't formed before age 8. We want children to have the best experience and not be put off learning this skill. This class is for children who are beginners to crochet and for those who can already crochet. They will be taught how to make a wind spinner and/or a flower. We will adapt the style to suit their ability so everyone will go home with something that they display indoors or outdoors. They will learn skills which will help them to never be bored in their summer holiday. Examples of wind spinners and flowers will be displayed for inspiration. All materials will be provided at the class. If your child already has crochet hooks and yarn please feel free to bring them along.
