Children’s Ceramic Class Sat 6th and 13th June, 10am - 11:30am In this class, children will learn how to make a flower shapes bird feeder and 2 small insect water stations in the first class. In the second class, children will paint all of their creations in UV acrylic paint to attract insects, bees and butterflies in the garden. Knit a scarf: 4 week course: Wednesday evenings 6-8pm: 6th May, 13th May, 20th May & 27th May

Host: Val Riddiough This four week course will teach you how to create your very own scarf.  You need to be able to attend all four sessions. Val will teach you how to cast on and cast off your stitches, learn knitting stitches including knit and purl and then how to combine these to make a patterned stitch.  Val has created a beginner friendly pattern especially for this course. All the materials you will need to complete the scarf are included in the price of the course.  If you have your own needles you are more than welcome to bring them along. What We Need From You: Your name, email address and telephone number.  Please also make us aware of any disabilities, special requirements or anything you need us to be mindful of, we want to ensure you have the best experience possible. You can do this by sending us an email at Complimentary tea and coffee and snacks are provided.  You are also welcome to bring your own food and drinks to this workshop. Host: Vanessa Reynolds This botanical contact print workshop is only open for people who have already attended a full botanical contact print workshop at The Crafty Coo before. Included in the £15 fee are; *8 A3 soya milk soaked and dried papers *The equipment and ingredients to complete the printing process *The plants needed to complete your prints, (although you could bring your own too) *Vanessa to set up and supervise boiling process *washing, drying and ironing service provided for completed prints. Botanical eco contact printing - Sunday 7th June - 1pm

Name of class - Botanical eco contact printingHost name - Vanessa ReynoldsDate of class - Sunday 7th June 2026Time of class - 1pm - 4pm In this workshop you will learn how to create your own botanic eco contact prints onto paper, using only local plants, rust, compression and boiling.  These prints can then be used as you like e.g. simply framing them, painting on top of them, making cards, book marks, gift bags etc.  You will also use ready made paper whilst waiting for the boiling process to work it's magic, to make greetings cards, gift bags and cover notebooks.  You will reveal your beautiful, unique botanic plants before you leave. Your host will wash, dry and iron them ready for you to collect from shop in approximately three days following the workshop. Everything you need is provided. Silver ring making: Sunday

Silver ring making Host: Ruth Patterson Cost: £39 In this workshop you will learn to create your very own simple sterling silver ring. Working with sterling silver we will use traditional jewellery making techniques to create a beautiful silver band ring for you to wear and take home. We will learn to size your ring and add texture the surface, the ring will then be soldered, after which you will clean, finish and polish your ring so that you can wear it . The course cost includes materials for one silver ring. Suitable for those aged 16 years and over. No previous jewellery experience is necessary, all materials to make your ring are supplied and all tools needed for the class will be provided for use during the workshop. As we will be working with tools, loose clothing should be avoided, closed toe shoes should be worn, if you have long hair it should be worn tied back and please remember to bring glasses if needed as we will be working with small objects.
