SUMMER SOLSTICE SOUND JOURNEY AT COWDRAY HALL Friday 19th June | 7pm-8pm Celebrate and meditate to the sounds of an amazing range of gongs to mark the summer solstice. Allow yourself to be surrounded and immersed in the complex and profound sounds of a spectacular range of gongs combining their tones together to create a beautiful synergy and deeply therapeutic soundscape as you meditate and celebrate the summer solstice. It is a great pleasure to have provided regular monthly sound sessions at Cowdray for over 5 years in this stunning and tranquil location. I bring a wealth of experience with sound and also having been a musician for over 40 years, this combined with my personal approach to playing the gongs which has been an integral part of my own life path. Using a unique multi-sensory approach to make every session a powerful and varied sonic journey which reaches far beyond the normal soundbath experience. Rebalance yourself with sound: Listen to the calming sounds of a variety of gongs, singing bowls and gentle percussion in a therapeutic sonic experience for relaxation and well-being. Sound and well-being: It’s important to make time for ourselves, and to look after our wellbeing. These sessions use a range of large gongs, played in a gentle and sensitive manner to help achieve a deep sense of relaxation and meditation which can help to restore the mind and body back to equilibrium. What to expect: You will rest comfortably on the floor and listen to the sounds.
