The oven is lit and wood-fired pizzas are back at Cowdray Farm Shop & Café. Served on Friday and Saturday evenings from 4pm. ​Delicious sourdough bases, made in-house by our team of chefs, are topped with homemade passata and the highest quality mozzarella. All cooked in a matter of minutes in our wood-fired oven based in the Farm Shop courtyard. The pizza oven is situated opposite the Farm Shop and orders will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis. Click here to view the menu.

Sound and Resonance Mini-Retreat – Exploring Multi-Sensory Listening Through The Senses

The mini-retreat will include a variety of meditations and participatory sound sessions providing you with the opportunity to enter into a peaceful and tranquil space which can have a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits. The focus of the retreats will be on using multi-sensory listening techniques to develop a greater sense of awareness and deeper focused meditations. As a partially deaf musician for over 40 years, I have developed a range of multi-sensory methods to extend listening beyond just the audible and to make it a fuller experience encompassing the whole of the body and the senses. I have found these methods to be of great benefit to anyone, regardless of their level of hearing, and these techniques can have significant health and wellbeing benefits and are ideal for meditation. The retreat will explore these techniques in a relaxed and informal way, enabling you to develop these skills for yourself. This is not an instructional course but a series of easy to follow meditation and participatory sessions aimed at meditation and active listening skills in a relaxed manner.

Guided Run Hosted by Emily 10:00am-11:00am | Farm Shop Car Park Join us for a relaxed and friendly guided 5km run starting from the beautiful Cowdray Farm Shop, set in the heart of the South Downs. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just getting started, this guided 5km is all about enjoying the journey at a comfortable pace, exploring parts of the Estate and surrounding countryside, and meeting others along the way. Meet at Cowdray Farm Shop Picnic Benches About Emily: I have been running in and around the South Downs for a long the last 20 years or so! We live in such a wonderful part of Sussex. My passion is being outside and helping others to explore and find adventure in our wonderful local area too. I have competed in many different distances and disciplines, from 5km to ultramarathons, triathlons and mountain bikes races and the off-road triathlon world championships in Hawaii. I hold an England athletics coaching licence. I have 2 children and 2 collies and love being outside with them all! Once the run has finished head to the cafe and enjoy a FREE hot drink from us.
