Stacy Nash and Tonja Gressley-Steele share a deep love of antique samplers and textiles. Through our travels and friendship, we’ve found a way to blend our individual textile mediums, coordinating projects that highlight both of our passions. With a mutual love of color, antique design, and fabric, we come together to create timeless projects. Our inspiration begins with the 1834 sampler created by Eliza Burgess. Each of us will be designing a project rooted in her beautiful work. Stacy Nash has been designing cross stitch for 20 years. She first picked up a needle as a young girl, learning the art from her grandmother, and her designs are now cherished worldwide. Known for her primitive style and unique creations, Stacy brings antique inspiration to life with every stitch. Stacy will draw on her favorite elements from Eliza’s sampler to create a one-of-a-kind sewing keepsake. Using her distinctive finishing techniques and creative design approach, her interpretation of this remarkable antique piece is not to be missed. Price includes kit and lunch.
