Sorting labels for A Jukebox of People Trying to Change the World, Ruth Ewan, 2024 Join us as we welcome anarchist aristocrat Eleanor Anstruther, author of FALLOUT, a darkly funny coming-of-age novel about identity and family secrets, set against the backdrop of the Greenham Common Peace Camp (an anti-nuclear peace camp run by women between 1981 and 2000). Eleanor will be in discussion with GWL’s Donna Moore about the inspiration for FALLOUT, the unique role women can play in activism and Eleanor’s own life at the forefront of activism: abandoning a privileged existence to chase eclipses, set up a commune, and build a stone circle by hand.
