IMPORTANT INFORMATIONBooking your place is essential so we can prepare materials and make everyone feel welcome. If you’ve booked but can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to someone else. Join us for a relaxed and inspiring creative workshop led by Jerry, who specialises in charcoals, acrylics and oils. This friendly session is designed for complete beginners to give you the chance to learn directly from an expert in a calm, supportive and enjoyable environment. Come and have a go! During the three-hour afternoon workshop, you’ll be gently guided through basic techniques, helping you to build confidence, develop new skills and enhance your crafting abilities, all at a comfortable, unhurried pace and under the watchful eye of your expert tutor. Whether you’re completely new to crafting or looking to expand your creative knowledge, you’ll feel welcomed, encouraged and supported every step of the way. This session is suitable for all ages and abilities. For the first part of the workshop Jerry will be guiding you through use of charcoal – mark making, drawing and having a go at producing simple shapes such as trees, buildings and clouds. Time allowing, you will then have chance to have a quick experiment doing similar techniques with a flat brush and acylic paint. We believe that everyone deserves the chance to create, so complete beginners are not only welcome, but positively encouraged.
