This is one groovy night of music to help raise as much money as possible for The British Red Cross, no ticket entry, but we appreciate a donation of what ever you wish to give on the door to get in! There are 4 acts to entertain you; The Wicked Ravens Rock in Roll, Psych Dirty Marsh Music with a touch of Essex Blues, sometimes melancholy sometimes foot stomping Mel & Marcel Marrying gritty lyrics to tunes you can sway to. Rob Prince A mixture of acoustic guitar, blues, loops, uke, written from experiences and observations and of course… The Groovy Arts Club Band Bringing an energetic & groovy vibe with their songs about Art, Artists & the 1960s/70s

We have lined up, 4 comedians for you to tickle your funny bones! This is usually a very popular event so make sure you get your tickets early! Host: Karen Bayley An award-winning Birmingham-born stand-up comedian and writer, known for her bold, no-nonsense style and sharp one-liners. Dave Bailey Combining observational storytelling with improv. a natural Comedian with a dry wit, observational material and an effortless improviser. He has performed at various Comedy Festivals and Comedy Clubs across the UK. Adele Cliff She was the first (and currently the only) woman to be named UK Pun Champion (in 2020) Edd Hedges An award-winning UK stand-up comedian and storyteller. Known for blending humour with emotional depth. Noted for its powerful real-life storytelling, and is widely regarded as a thoughtful and distinctive voice in Comedy.

Drink, Draw, Write

A relaxed creative evening. Draw and/or write, and socialise, no experience needed. We have been trying something new for a few months. If you like the idea of what we are trying to do, please become part of it and help get it off the ground. Drink, Draw, Write is a relaxed monthly creative social meet up. Bring your sketchbook (or just yourself), have a drink, and spend a couple of hours drawing, writing, and unwinding in good company. This is not a class as such, but an opportunity to mark some time in your diary to be creative. Each session includes: – A theme and prompts to get you going creatively (unless you already have your own project on the way, we will not hold you back) – Inspirational reference material – Pens, paper, and some other art supplies to borrow, but we encourage you to bring your own favorites. (yes, digital is fine too) – An opportunity to share your work (only if you want to) You will also be able to join the associated WhatsApp group, allowing you to communicate with other creatives. Please prebook tickets; it really helps us plan and make sure we can run these events.
