A Bonfire Night scene with fireworks, sparks, and people gathered for an autumn evening event

Bonfire Night Weekend in London

10 picks around London, from 9 local venues. The map pin is doing actual work here.

4–6 November 2026 Near London

Not every listing gets a golden ticket

Same legwork as always: we check a frankly silly number of local websites, then keep the Bonfire Night plans that are nearby, properly described, and worth your time. No mystery listings that leave you guessing whether there are fireworks, a bonfire, or just a lonely burger van.

Happening 4 November 2026 to 6 November 2026.
Picked for London, not somewhere halfway across the county.
Only Local Gems and Curated venues make the cut, because standards are still a thing.
Listings with proper descriptions get bumped up the list. Three words and a shrug will not do.

33rd SCI Young Chemist in Industry 20261Free! (worth double-checking)

33rd SCI Young Chemist in Industry 2026

at SCI

This event will be of interest to industrial chemists to discover what their contemporaries are working on in other companies and other areas of research, but also for academic chemists who want to find out the different challenges and focus that working in an industrial setting offers. It presents a superb opportunity for younger chemists to showcase their industrial research to an external audience. Prizes will be awarded for the best talk and runners-up. In addition, a lecture from a leading industrial chemist will conclude the proceedings. All talks will be followed by a chance to ask questions and the networking opportunity allows a possible exchange of ideas.

Ann Kempster

at Decorexi

Faultless from first enquiry, discovering products to delivery. The Decorexi shop Is local to me, I had passed it many times, admired the huge and beautiful clock faces but in May I actually visited. I had a great conversation with Lin who was empathetic, knowledgeable and so helpful. Spotted and bought my (first) mirror which was delivered with great care the next day! After spotting another mirror on their website and realising it was exactly what I needed for the sitting room, today I went in and bought that too. I had another long conversation with Lin, learned more about the company and explored the new website which only went live two days ago. It is excellent. I can’t recommend them enough for range of services and different decorative, and for me, inspirational ideas. Oh and such lovely people too!

Chris Ramsey: Here, Man7

Chris Ramsey: Here, Man

at Cliffs Pavilion, Southend

Following a rapid and complete sell-out Spring tour, Chris has added a limited run of extra dates this autumn. Despite initially (and repeatedly) vowing not to add any extra dates, the opportunity to continue touring ‘Here Man’ and tell audiences all about all the stuff that he CAN’T SAY on his hit podcast ‘Shagged Married Annoyed’, was just too tempting! As seen on The Chris & Rosie Ramsey Show, Strictly Come Dancing, and Taskmaster, presenting Children in Need, and co-hosting his weekly mega-hit marital podcast Shagged.Married.Annoyed, alongside (long-suffering) wife Rosie Ramsey, don’t miss Chris as he brings his trademark stand-up to a venue near you.
