Across three days, expect live entertainment, great food, Beer Hall sessions and relaxed summer vibes - all alongside the popular Clitheroe Food Festival taking place in town on Saturday. Saturday 8th August – Main Food Fest Day The main event returns for a full day of food, music and entertainment at Holmes Mill. In conjunction with the Clitheroe Food Festival taking place across the town, Holmes Mill will be hosting: Live music performances from 12pm DJ sets throughout the day James' Places Food stalls in the Mill Yard Outdoor entertainment Bars open all day Expect festival vibes, incredible food and plenty to enjoy from day into night.

Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th August 2026 Welcome to our 2 day mega picnic festival event that all the family can enjoy! Starting on Saturday 29th August, book your tickets for our 80's Vs 90's afternoon! Kicking off the event is the One and Only himself, multi million selling artist- Chesney Hawkes. Following Chesney is the fabulous platinum selling Britpop rock band - Dodgy with 9 Top 40 singles. Finally, with over 40 years of chart-topping success - we have the Brit Award winner and original punk pop princess herself - Toyah! All the above hit recording stars will be supported by an array of further artists, while the audience settles in for the afternoon with their picnics, strawberries, and champagne. The show will finish at 7:30 pm, allowing everyone to leave the parkland during daylight. Sunday 30th August, with over 10 million albums sold, we have the Welsh legend himself Aled Jones! Royal Albert Hall favourite, Aled is sure to wow the crowd with his decades of singing expertise and charisma. Supporting Aled will be rising Lancashire pop country star Amy Jo, and the dynamic postmodern harmonies of The Bluebirds. Superb soprano Danielle Louise Thomas will finish the show with an amazing Proms finale set. Danielle is known as the Voice of Liverpool and is in high demand, having performed at Royal occasions and on the BBC. Our fabulous Sunday performers will also be supported by a fantastic line up of singers and musicians starting at 3pm until 7.30pm.

Samlesbury Summer Fayre Sunday 30th & Monday 31st August 2026 10am – 4pm Celebrate the end of the season at the Samlesbury Summer Fayre, and catch the last of the sunshine with the family. Step back in time with guided tours of our historic Hall, browse our local artisan food and craft market and soak up the atmosphere of our incredible 701 year old house with live music and a courtyard disco. Children will love the fairground rides, face painting, lawn games, tin can alley, and of course hook-a-duck in the courtyard fountain. There’s activities for all the family – bring along your pooch to test their skills on our dog agility course. The BBQ will be sizzling, with drinks available from our fully licensed bar, plus lunches in The Garden Room Eatery, or something a little sweeter in Maria’s Tea Room and Gift Shop. Ice-creams, cakes, teas and coffees! Entry is by voluntary donation, plus don’t forget to enter our raffle, supporting the Samlesbury Hall Charitable Trust (526052), where we will have some fantastic prizes on offer!
