Foraging Course

Blackpit Farm was once part of the famous Stowe Estate and is located between it and Silverstone Racetrack. It is blessed with coniferous and broadleaf woodlands, and wide grassy rides. This venue is well served by road links and is within easy reach of Towcester, Buckingham, Brackley, Northampton, Milton Keynes, Bicester, Banbury, Daventry, Oxford and Leighton Buzzard. When we meet up, we will go through laws and safety points of foraging before heading out to discover the wild food in the area. As we wander hedgerows, meadows and woodland edges, you’ll be introduced to the wildflowers that have shaped centuries of belief and practice. Learn how familiar blooms were once used for healing, protection, divination and ritual, and discover their symbolic roles in witchcraft, mythology and rural folklore. From flowers said to ward off evil to plants associated with love spells, fairies and seasonal rites or offerings. Each stop along the way uncovers a fascinating layer of Britain’s mysterious past. Grounded in landscapes and traditions, this walk blends botany with storytelling, offering insight into how people once understood the natural world and how echoes of those beliefs remain today. No prior knowledge is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to see the countryside through an enchanted lens. Perfect for nature lovers, folklore enthusiasts and anyone drawn to the mystical, Wildflowers and Witchcraft is a gentle, immersive experience that reconnects land, legend and imagination. Crazy Tots Soft Play

Every 3rd Wednesday of the month | 10.00 - 12:00 Join us every third Wednesday of the month for our soft play sessions, designed for little ones to play, explore and burn off some energy in a safe, relaxed space. Our friends at Crazy Tots Soft Play offer a huge variety of colourful equipment, with something for every stage and age. Children can enjoy ball pits, slides, hoppers, tents, ride-ons and plenty more, all laid out to encourage movement, imagination and fun. We also provide dedicated areas for babies and younger children , featuring sensory toys, smaller ball pits and softer play equipment, so even the tiniest visitors can enjoy themselves comfortably and safely. Parents and carers can relax in our on-site café, serving hot drinks, snacks and light bites throughout the session. It’s the perfect mid-week outing to meet other families while the children play.
