Join Rachael to make a felted snake! Create a colourful, handmade snake using a fun wool craft technique called wet felting! Using just warm, soapy water and your hands, you will wrap and roll raw wool roving into a solid, squishy snake design. Choose your favourite colours from our selection to make your creation completely unique. Because this technique doesn’t use sharp tools this session is perfect for all ages and abilities. Our sessions are inclusive for everyone, whatever your age, ability, or learning needs. Parents & guardians must stay at the venue if the individual is under 14 or requires support. Join Rachael to create a custom needle felted decoration. You can choose to make a hanging home decoration, a car mirror accessory, or a key-ring. Using a simple cookie-cutter technique, you will shape raw wool into a solid design. Choose your cookie cutter shape and colour wool from our selection. Due to sharp needles being used this session is available for people who are 14+ years old. We have an alternative wet needle felting session for younger people or those who don’t want to use needles. Where: V21 Sbectrwm Centre, Cardiff When: Saturday, 25th July Sessions: 1pm – 2.30pm Our space is fully accessible and welcoming to everyone in the community. Make your own Window Decorations

Join Jessie to design Window Decorations to take home and brighten your windows! Using mixed media, you will have the chance to create two different types: a ‘stained glass’ window effect hanging decoration and colourful window stickers. Our Summer Holiday workshops are split into two sessions: Morning Session Under 16’s Afternoon Session 16+ Workshops that bring the community together, everyone is welcome, no matter your ability. Make Your Own Ceramic Pumpkins

Bring an autumnal Halloween glow to your home by making your own set of up to 3 pumpkin ornaments/tea light holders. Join us for a memorable, creative experience making your own pumpkins. Add a touch of Autumn to your home with a set of mini pumpkin ornaments. Originally used to scare away evil spirits, these pumpkins will make interesting and unique autumnal decorations or add to a stylish Halloween display. During this workshop you will be able to make up to 3 pumpkins of varying sizes, keeping as an ornament or turned into a tealight holder. They will then be glazed in warm autumnal tones of orange and yellow and ready for collection within 4 weeks. Good to know: 3D Pumpkin Ornaments (approx. diameter 8 – 15cm). Materials and tools will be provided on the day. Your creations will be fired and glazed by our V21 Pottery team and ready for you to collect within 4 weeks. Workshops are open to any ability 14 years and above. Free parking available on site, with close train and bus routes.
