Willow Flower Workshop

Have you ever fancied trying a willow weaving workshop? Join us and Womblewitch for our very first willow weaving workshop. In this class you will learn to make a beautiful woven flower that can be either hung from a wall or displayed on a willow stick (which is provided). You will create the centre of the flower using traditional basket making techniques. You will then have an option to make an additional small woven leaf to add to the stem of your flower if you wish. Suitable for beginners, all materials and tools provided. £44.95 per person (includes full demonstration by instructor, all materials and light refreshments). Please note all tickets are non-refundable, however name changes are permitted if you are unable to attend. This would only be permitted if you contact us 48 hours prior to the event and advise of the change of details. Should this event be cancelled, due to circumstances beyond our control, we will offer a transfer to an alternative event of the same value (subject to availability) or a credit voucher equivalent to the full value of your booking. This credit will be emailed to you and will be valid for use at Lanchester Garden Centre for 3 months from the date of issue.

Fused Glass Wind Chime Workshop

Join us and Nat from Northern Sky Designs for an afternoon of creative fun at our Fused Glass Wind Chime Workshop. Let the sun shine through and brighten your home. This piece can hung either inside or outside, all year round adding a splash of colour, shape and style to the area of your choice. This course is suitable for beginners but also great if you’ve made glass before and fancy trying something different and all tuition and materials will be provided. Once made, the pieces will be taken back to Nat’s kiln and fired and set ready for collection from the Lanchester Garden Centre around a week later. Suitable for beginners or those with some experience. £45.00 per person (includes full demonstration by instructor, all materials and refreshments) This workshop is aimed at adults and children 16+ year old. Sea Glass Bracelet Workshop

Join us and Christine from Glass of Kinds for a morning of creative fun at our very first Sea Glass Jewellery workshop. This session will include full instructions on how to drill sea glass safely, pros and cons of different approaches to drill. You will practice drilling on various pieces of sea glass before you choose which glass beads you want in between the sea glass. Sea Glass Necklace Workshop

Join us and Christine from Glass of Kinds for an afternoon of creative fun at one of our very first Sea Glass Jewellery workshop. This session will include full instructions on how to drill sea glass safely, pros and cons of different approaches to drill. You will practice drilling on various pieces of sea glass before you choose your statement piece of sea glass to drill. There will be a choice of clear, seafoam, green or brown sea glass to use. You will then add the clasp using pliers and make a chain to the size they require, then complete making your own unique necklace.
