Big "Chocolate" Science Workshop

Join us for our Big “Chocolate” Science Easter Workshop where each child gets to make their own Easter Chocolate as we explore States of Matter. There will also be some fizzy science fun and some of our amazing Big Science demonstrations. And you don’t go home empty handed – you will receive a tasty treat. £15.95 per child (includes all experiments, demonstrations and refreshments). Our workshops are aimed at primary aged children, so 5 to 11 years old. However younger children could take part with an adult helper. Please note all tickets are non-refundable, however name changes are permitted if you are unable to attend. This would only be permitted if you contact us 48 hours prior to the event and advise of the change of details. Join us for our fantastic new workshop where you will learn all about the digestive system of owls discovering what a pellet is and how it is formed. Then dissect a pellet and discover what the owl had for their lunch. Finish your workshop with a meet and greet with our Barn Owl. £7.50 per child including all equipment and materials. Suitable for children from age 3+ (children must be accompanied by an adult (free of charge) throughout, 1 adult per child). So don’t be afraid – come along and try something new! Join us and Fellside Alpacas for the return of our Alpaca Petting event. Fused Glass Workshop

Have you ever fancied trying a fused glass workshop? Join us and Julie’s Hand Crafted Glass for our Spring Fused Glass Workshop. In this workshop you will have the choice to make either make 2 small decorative shaped pieces or Spring wave picture. Your expert will explain the glass and how it all works along with helping you create your own designs. You will have the choice of various glass materials to use in your designs. All materials included in the price, your work will be taken away to be fired in the kiln. They will be returned to the premises within 10 days for you to collect. 2 x Decorative Shapes:  £45.00 per person (includes full demonstration by instructor, all materials and light refreshments). Willow Flower Workshop

Have you ever fancied trying a willow weaving workshop? Join us and Womblewitch for our very first willow weaving workshop. In this class you will learn to make a beautiful woven flower that can be either hung from a wall or displayed on a willow stick (which is provided). You will create the centre of the flower using traditional basket making techniques. You will then have an option to make an additional small woven leaf to add to the stem of your flower if you wish. Suitable for beginners, all materials and tools provided. £44.95 per person (includes full demonstration by instructor, all materials and light refreshments).
