The Clydebank Health and Social Walks starts from beside the band stand on Three Queen’s Square and follows local routes around Clydebank, the canal and includes walks down past the Titan Crane. All walks are for health and social benefits and last up to 1 hour. It’s a perfect opportunity to meet new people while becoming more active. Many people think of walking as recreational and not really exercise, but that daily walk can be hugely beneficial to your health – and it’s free to do! Taking part in one of the many Health and Social Walks across West Dunbartonshire will help you get out and about, meet new people and socialise with friends and family, all at the same time. The Dumbarton walk will be in Levengrove Park. The walkers meet at 10am beside the Kilmahew Fountain just down from the main gate on Clydeshore Road. Many people think of walking as recreational and not really exercise, but that daily walk can be hugely beneficial to your health – and it’s free to do! The 30-minute online ASPIRE Awareness session gives you a brief introduction to the ASPIRE health check, what is involved and what happens next with your committee and staff. Health checks are a great way of taking a step back and a critical look at your area of strengths and improvement. They help address problems before they get out of control or reassure you things are going well. The ASPIRE health check focusses on resilience. Resilient organisations encounter problems just like any other but have the strength to get through them and continue delivering. Third Sector Leadership Forum

The Forum is the key local space for sector representatives to come together. Membership is open to any locally-based third sector organisation and to regional and national organisations funded to or proactively providing services in West Dunbartonshire. Forum meetings take place quarterly – March, June, September and December and offer protected time for discussion, collaboration and joint training opportunities, around the key issues and challenges we all face.
