There is also off-site parking at Salisbury Park and Ride London Road car park a few minutes walk from the Meadows. About this farm: Laverstock Water-meadows are 65 acres of wildflower rich flood-plain meadows owned and farmed by Devenish Bradshaw Charitable Trust. Local graziers bring their cattle and sheep onto the Meadows during the growing season. We cut hay on some of our fields. We have Cricket Bat Willows which are harvested for commercial cricket bat manufacture and old varieties of orchard trees. Running by the Meadows is a stretch of the rare and precious River Bourne chalk-stream, brimming with wildlife. Highlights: Beef; Fruit; Environmental stewardship
