Open Farm Sunday at Primrose Organic Produce

Join us at Primrose Organic Produce for Open Farm Sunday at Lymburghs Farm, near Marnhull. We’ll be opening the farm for a relaxed day of food, farming and seasonal growing, with a chance to meet the team and learn more about life on our organic family farm. Jim will be leading a farm walk, sharing more about our organic farming system, our Red Devon cattle, sheep, pasture and the way we care for the land. Gilla will also be leading a vegetable and chicken walk, giving visitors the chance to explore the market garden, see what’s growing in the beds and polytunnels, and meet our laying hens. There will be a BBQ using our own organic meat, along with hot drinks, cold drinks and refreshments from the farm shop and café. We’ll also have fresh organic beef available in the shop that weekend. It will be a friendly, informal day for all ages, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, enjoy the farm, and find out more about organic food, seasonal produce and regenerative farming in practice. Please wear suitable footwear for uneven ground and farm tracks. About this farm: At our family farm in Dorset, we believe real food should be grown with care, not chemicals. Organic, regenerative farming and slow-grown produce are the opposite of the ultra-processed, fast food that has taken over so many kitchens. We’re here to keep things seasonal, local, and full of flavour.
