This is a normal driving day, included with your membership. Driving begins after the 10:30am briefing. If you miss the briefing it is important that you speak to the Venue Controller before going on circuit. You will need to pre-register for this venue as it is an active MOD site. All adults will also need to bring ID, as the MOD could ask for this at any time. Note: There is often a Joiners Day at Lyneham. Remember to check the Blog and Newsletter on the week before the event for full details of what else is on.

Motorway Driving at Lyneham

Motorway driving is open to any Grade 3, 2, 1 or X Member and is a mandatory requirement to achieve Grade 2. The day will also include distracted driving and brake and avoid events. Numbers are limited to 32, so please book a free ticket to secure a space.

Stunt Day – South Cerney

To celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we have brought back the opportunity for our Members and their Associates to experience and learn Stunt Driving!!! This is delivered by our friends at Stunt Driving UK who hold no less than 8 Guinness World Records for stunt driving. See https://www.stuntdriveuk.com/ We will be doing this at South Cerney on Sunday 20th September. This event will be exclusively for the Stunt Driving programme with no normal Car Club driving. The event is open to good Grade 3s up to adults, but with a minimum height of 1.35m. It will cover: Parallel Park J-Turns Driving on Two Wheels Stunt Routine (which links together the handbrake turn and the parallel park to make a little routine that links multiple stunts together). This unique event costs just £80 per person (which is a £45 saving and not normally available to under 17s) and we have up to 40 places available.

This is a normal driving day included in your membership. Note the briefing as at 10:00 AM at Castle Combe, set those alarms early! Driving begins after the 10:00am briefing. If you miss the briefing it is important that you speak to the Venue Controller before going on circuit. You need to be graded (G5 or higher) to drive today. The Cafe will be open for food and drinks.

Magic Day at Castle Combe

This year’s Magic Day is on 27th September 2026. The club warmly welcomes any help you can give, it isn’t just about cars as you know, you usually donate some stunning auction items and raffle prizes. Along with being a normal driving day included in your membership, there will be an amazing selection of cars for you to drive or have rides in, usually extra catering, raffles and games. This is our big fund raiser for the charities we support. More details will be published throughout the year but definitely a date for your diary.
