Vintage Weekend 2026

Hebden Bridge Vintage Weekend is our main fund raising event and is held at Calder Holmes Park in the centre of Hebden Bridge. It features classic and vintage cars, live entertainment, stalls of every description, a children’s play area, food court and much more. Running over the first full weekend in August, this event provides great entertainment for all the family attracting visitors from all over the North as well the residents of HX7 and surrounding area. Our Events

Whilst the Rotary Club is involved with supporting many events in HX7, its 2 main fundraising events are the annual Vintage Weekend which is always held on the first full weekend in August and the annual Duck Race which is always held on Easter Monday. Both events take place in the centre of Hebden Bridge and together can raise over £50K each year, to then be given away in grants and awards to charities and good causes, both locally, nationally and internationally. Duck Race 2026 Trying to explain why up to 10,000 people from all over the North of England should descend on Hebden Bridge for 4 hours on an Easter Monday afternoon just to see some plastic ducks float down the river might be considered a hard task. However one look at the videos on our website or any of the photos that can be found all over the internet and social and it immediately becomes clear! There’s a business race of larger red, green and blue ducks first before the main event of 12,000 little yellow ducks racing down Hebden Water in the centre of the Town, all trying to get to the finishing line first, and being cheered on every step of the way! With some fantastic prizes to be won, this event is not only enjoyed by all, it just as importantly raises a large amount for charity!
