IRONMAN

The IRONMAN Leeds 2026 takes place on Sunday 16th August 2026. As England’s only full-distance IRONMAN, the event is based at Roundhay Park and features a 2.4-mile lake swim in Waterloo Lake, a 112-mile bike course through the Yorkshire Dales, and a 26.2-mile marathon run course centred around the park. The action will be taking place throughout the day, so come along and support these incredible athletes! There will be free parking available on Soldiers Field. Here’s a reminder of all the action from last year!

Oakwood Film Academy - Heritage Open Days 2026

Come along for a free screening of films produced by Oakwood File Academy, brought to you with support from The Friends of Roundhay Park. This event, for Heritage Open Days 2026, has been organised by Oakwood Film Academy in co-operation with The Friends of Roundhay Park. You will see three short films made by Oakwood Film Academy: Pollution in the park The Ghost in the Library The Man at the Clock. There will be an opportunity for Q&A with the film makers and the whole event is expected to last about an hour.
