Meet opposite the Cecil Arms in St. Stephens Village. Another walk led by Rebecca Pearce exploring the varied wildlife and environments to be found at Churchtown Farm. We plan for this to be a Family Event with simple activities for children to do while on the walk. Please bring a drink and a small picnic to enjoy at the end of the walk. NB. NO DOGS PLEASE. ALL CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SOME OF THE PROPOSED WALKS THIS YEAR ARE NOT ON A SATURDAY, SO PLEASE CHECK CAREFULLY. Walks may have to be cancelled at fairly short notice because of adverse weather or conditions underfoot. Please check social media, web site or emails for up to date information. Depending on routes planned, it can be steep, uneven and slippery.Please be aware of this and do not put yourself at risk. We request that you wear robust and suitable foot wear and clothing. In summer, it can be very hot. Please wear a hat and bring a drink. There are no public toilets accessible to visitors to Churchtown.
