Bomber County photography afternoon/evening

Following the huge success of our Bomber County Photography Days, we have once again teamed up with Darren Harbar Photography to run another day in 2026. Last year’s afternoon and evening format proved so popular, that we are once again going to run the event through the afternoon and into the evening. The day will conclude with both our Avro Lancaster ‘Just Jane’ and Tony Agar’s stunning Mosquito individually running their engines in the late evening light.

Or maybe you wanted to try your hand as a speaker in aviation/historical contexts? In this session, Trevor Kerry revisits his 2025 book (The Lost Dambuster Lancaster, Pen & Sword 2025) about a 617 crew, to explore the strategies for deciding on and collating suitable material; moving on from small beginnings; and building the story into something suitable for an audience. A detailed and honest account of the journey from idea to publication.

After 30 years of research Chris is a walking, talking encyclopedia of Bomber Command having written 39 full wartime histories for Bomber Command Squadrons and he's also written more about the Dambusters than anyone else.
