Open Farm Sunday at Crambe Grange Farm

Come and join us on our family farm for a free guided farm walk on Sunday 7th June 2026. You and your family will learn about how we care for the land, grow our crops and look after our livestock, producing food sustainably whilst supporting wildlife and the surrounding landscape. The visit will provide you with an insight into modern farming and food production, helping you to connect with where your food comes from and the important role farming plays in the rural environment. The walk will last for approximately 45 minutes and then there will be opportunities to meet our animals and find out about what we do. We are a small mixed farm, 20 minutes from York, nestled in the beautiful Howardian Hills National Landscape and adjacent to the Yorkshire River Derwent. Come dressed for the weather as the walk will go ahead rain or shine! Please note that our walk will take us through rough and uneven terrain - we recommend sturdy/waterproof footwear such as wellies or walking boots. Tickets are limited and booking is essential. Refreshments and homemade cakes will be on offer at the end of the walk, with gluten free and vegan options available. Please contact us with any other dietary requirements. Please note: This is an organised tour, which begins at 11.15am, not a general open day. Late arrivals will miss out, so please arrive by 11am to park and find the start point.
